Questions about easy installation

Which platforms does Doorbell support?

Websites, through a JavaScript widget, plus native SDKs for iOS (installed with CocoaPods or Swift Package Manager) and Android (installed with Gradle). You can also send feedback from your own server with the API, or forward emails into Doorbell.

Will Doorbell slow down my site or app?

No. On the web, the snippet loads Doorbell in the background once your page has finished loading, so it never holds your page up. In apps, the SDK only does any work when you open the form.

Can an AI coding agent install Doorbell for me?

Yes. Your dashboard and the docs have a ready-made prompt for each platform. Paste it into Claude Code, Cursor or another coding agent and it adds Doorbell to your project.

Can I open the form from my own button?

Yes. Doorbell adds a feedback button by default, but you can hide it and open the form from any button, link or menu item instead.
