Frequently asked questions
How long is the free trial?
7 days. Each application can start its free trial whenever it suits you, from your dashboard, with every feature and as many teammates as you like. No credit card required.
What happens when my trial ends?
Your application moves to the Free plan. You keep all your feedback, and customers can still send you more. Paid features like screenshots, Slack and helpdesk integrations and canned responses switch off until you subscribe.
Can I switch plans later?
Yes. Upgrades and downgrades take effect immediately, and billing is prorated. If you cancel, your plan stays active until the end of the period you’ve paid for.
Do I need a credit card to sign up?
No. You can sign up, use the free plan and start your trial without entering any payment information.
Can I connect Claude or ChatGPT to Doorbell?
Yes, on the Enterprise plan. Connect Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code or Codex with MCP, and ask about your feedback in plain language. Connections are read-only, and each person signs in with their own Doorbell account.
What if I need more than one application?
Each paid plan covers one application. The Enterprise plan covers several, with one bill and one team across them all. Email hello@doorbell.io to discuss your needs.
